Let's peruse the fine cuisine of intellectual enrichment to be gleaned from WDIM's database of knowledge. First article:

Sounds fair and balanced. Though I get the impression David L. Booth is something like a sponsor to WDIM (judge for yourself, link provided above).

I fear Dr. Anatoly is to David L. Booth, what Sherlock Holmes is to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. If your not sure, as I was, when Christopher Columbus "discovered" America it happened in 1942 That's not to say there weren't Europeans aware of the America's in secret, in fact there's 200 pounds of evidence to suggest a few people where very aware of where the Americas are located. But to suggest the exterminations of the Native Americans was perpetuated by the Christian church in an attempt to eliminate all apposing religions is so far beyond ridiculous it borders the repugnant. Why start with America anyway? Your walking distance from India, the birth place of 4 of the most notable religions in the world(including both Hindu and Buddhism).

Logic aside, this site is bat-shit nuts, and I can't even begin scrutinize every article within, without the fear my eyes will fall out of there sockets.

So why Bring it up? What does this site have to do with UFO's? Well...

Lately there's been all kinds of buzz regarding WikiLeaks and their alleged UFO compendium; sure to be a complete encyclopedia of all alien activity in the northern hemisphere, and by no means would these documents turn out to be vague nondescript unverifiable rambling reports from low ranking military or government staff members. Who, by the way, would never lie... Should they, however, turn out to be audio cassettes of Hillary Clinton mocking diplomats from Vega, I'll be the first to shit my pants.

So now, we've found ground zero, the stories actual source, or have we? No! of course not, in fact the author is (as stated by the article) Sorcha Faal: as reported to her Western Subscribers. Yes, that right, this article is based on the conjectures and claims of people in complete anonymity somewhere in the western hemisphere, maybe. The article went on to reference crystal skulls and the Swedish government and just gave up all pretense of rationality.

I look forward to seeing what the actually cables have to say about UFO's however, as of today (January 8th, 2011) no one save a few members of wikileaks have read those reports, and any one who tells you otherwise is blowing smoke up your ass.

And that's how this works. Whenever you find an article about aliens or UFO's just keep clicking "Sources Cited" and eventually you'll end up staring at gif's and bad html design proclaiming the works of alien Jesus and the government's plans to reanimate the corpse of Elvis, all hidden deep underground in missile silo disguised as windmills. I hope the ghost of Miguel de Cervantes is looking down on us with a smile. Still chasing those windmills.

About This Blog

This blog, as the title implies, will be a completely scientific (largely skeptical) approach to UFO-oligy.

Too often I've found "research" and "evidence" regarding UFO's to be comprised of assumptions, severely lacking information and more often than not: complete fabrications. It drives me up the fucking wall to see what passes for logic amongst UFO enthusiast.

So, time which would have been spent screaming at my television and writing seething letters to the History Channel, will instead be spent shouting into the vast hallow canyon of the internet, where these words may well echo for a thousand years.

This is not to say I don't believe in UFO's, by their very definition (unidentified flying object); they do exist. What I plan to articulate in the paradigms of logic and reasoning to follow this segment are the systematic debunkings of all wild and ridiculous hypothesises surrounding UFO's.

Ignorance and superstition will permeate as we dive into the realm of the unknown. Harbored here in its cavities are the places untouched by the light of science and fertile grounds for myth. Here we will swim among the empty promises that are too often the "proof" of the "supernatural" and shine a hard light into those who would sacrifice a cold and muddled reality for a warm and well nurtured fantasy.



If there is a conspiratorial plot to taint UFO theory by flooding the internet with poorly designed blogs and erroneousness information, it has been a rousing success.
